Any ideas about what we can do about the ual predator or offender problem?
Yet another little girl is kidnapped and killed walking home from school. I am so tired of hearing these stories and nothing is really done about it. I am so tired of having to live in fear for my son, they should be scared of us not the other way around. Kids can't be kids anymore, they can't play outside before dinner or after they get their homework done, girls can't go walk around the mall with their friends, a kid can't go look at the toy aisle in a store while the mom shops, they can't go ride their bikes with their friends- it's so sad they can't have a childhood-everyone talks about the rise in childhood obesity, and it's because the parents don't let their child out of arms length from them for fear of something happening to them. There has got to be something we can do to make them scared of us vs the other way around. I'm not saying violence, or vigilante justice, or witch hunts, but there has to be something, they have no fear, they will take a kid right out of a park in broad daylight. They have no fear of doing this, and they are getting smarter. There has got to be something we can do as a society and as parents to stand up and make these people afraid of us and afraid to take our children vs closing our children up in the house, with multiple deadlocks on the door for fear of them getting snatched out of their bed while they are sleeping.
