Insurance on someone else's motorcycle?

I'm storing my fiance's motorcycle (Suzuki GSX-R750) for him while he's deployed. I have my motorcycle endorsement on my license and all that, but do I personally have to carry insurance for his bike? He obviously has insurance on the bike and I have it with the proof of registration. But do I need to have my own insurance on it since I am not the owner? Thanks!
