Do you choose best answer because you're selfish?

cuz when you ask it takes 5 points but if you choose best answer you'd gain 3 back so 2 pnts would be wasted LOLL! lame question probably since i dnt think any1 wud notice but i just noticed ppl choosing best answer over ppl tht r not even giving a one star answer which S^CKS. so? did u ever think of it tht way or is it just me i choose cuz i find it good since many answer in a gd way!
