Why would I create a job because of a personal tax break?

It wouldn't. That type of rhetoric is right wing propaganda. There are no economic theories or historical evidence to back up the claim that tax cuts create jobs. It's not like tax cuts come with a disclaimer that says "you must use this money to create jobs". People/companies can do whatever they want with that money, and at the moment they are stuffing it in the back because of low demand.
