Help! my mother-in-law is driving me crazy! My hubby had an appendectomy and is in the hospital.?

He is doing great and can get out of the bed, walk around and feed himself fine. However, she is being so overbearing and clingy as if I can't take care of him. She tries to spoon feed him when he can do it himself. When I try to give him a hand up out the bed she bulldozes her way in front to help him and leaves me in the shadows. And the most weird thing is when he first got out of surgery he would not pee in front of her in his portable urinal. So she left and call back to see if he urined in the porta urinal for me and when I told her yes she got upset. Then made it a point to not leave the room when he needs to take a leak. She get up to hug on him and carress his shoulder while he's peeing!Omg it's creepy and unhealthy. This is her SON not her husband. AND I took off work this week why did she too? She won't leave she like spends 14 hrs with us each day. I can't take it anymore. How should I handle this?!? I'm at my wits end....
