Will my brother get skin cancer from sitting in sun for the last 30 years constantly?

I am worried about my older brother who tans in the sun all day and works at the Palm Beach County Jail at night, then hits the beach again. He really looks like my mom had an affair with Martin Luther King Jr! He is so tan, that when you look at him, your eyes start to water. Will he get cancer? He looks like he loves it so much, like it is his life! Could sitting in sun make you immune to Cancer because he's been sitting in sun for years and years with only a few things he had to remove from head like a boil or pimple. Will he eventually get that Melanoma thing if he has sat directly in the sun all day every day for the last 29 years?
