My best friends boyfriend.?

Well my best friend has a boyfriend and she has been very distracted by him, and i am starting to lose her as a friend, but i have always felt that he doesnt like me as a person (not like like) And so but recently he has been nicer to me. He has started huggin me and playing with my hair clips and tappin me on my shoulder when he walks by. I wanna just know if u think he likes me as a friend finally or he is just doing to impress my friend since thats his girlfriend....? Awnser asap! Thanks.
