Can wearing night contacts inhibit your ability to undergo Laser eye surgery?

I've been thinking of getting night contacts ever since my eyes started going blurry (i've gone from 20/20 vision to -1.5 diopters in as little as 6 months). I know that night contacts only provide temporary vision return, so i may wear them for the time being until I decide for laser Eye surger. But I've heard from my friend that wearing night contacts changes the cornea, which prevents your ability to later get laser eye surgery for a permanent fix. Can someone verify this or give an example of someone who actually received laser eye surgery after using night contacts?
